I have to say...Boston has some of the best crowds I have seen so far. It's worth the trip just to be part of a crowd that is into it and vocal.

That is why they are the best sports town;)

Someone shit in a cup?? Thank God I wasn't there, that's just plain gross!

Although, Independence Day and Backstreets?!?!?!! That sounds REALLY good. Just watched to video of Jungleland from Hyde Park.. I don't think watching videos is helping my hunger for a show, but that video is pure awesomeness!!!!!

So 2010 eh? Is this just another load of crap?

I think 2010 is still a possibility. From what I've heard he's doing some shows next summer.

I was at the Sunday night concert. My eleventh Bruce show. It was easily in my Top 5...just when you thought it was over, out comes another classic. Hang on Sloopy...You Never Can Tell, Twist and Shout...a ton of surprises. Ending with Hungry Heart was really unusual.

Hopefully he'll do what Macca did this past summer and hopefully he'll play the same places he did.. i.e. HALIFAX!!

Thanks a lot for the pics John.. although it makes my hunger for a Springsteen show even stronger, they are great pics! Thanks again.

Here's to the summer of 2010 (it can't come soon enough!!)

And until someone tells me it completely fell apart, I'll continue to hope there will be a show in these parts next year.

Dave its not burn-out I'm worried about. Its about him taking time to work on a solid album. Its about him taking a break so that we the fans miss him again and stop taking him for granted. The extremely poor sales for his Fall lag are VERY telling and this includes his strong holds - not to mention the secondary markets. Its just been too much of a good thing for too long.

I'd be buying tickets in a heartbeat if he were to play in 2010 in Moncton (though I may not travel like I have in the past).

I can't speak for you, but I'm certainly not taking him for granted. I wanna see him so bad, you can't even begin to imagine.
And about this break... HE DOES NOT NEED A BREAK!! he can do some dates next year, meanwhile working on another album. The man CAN do two things at once. Plus, I don't think he'll be touring next year just doing random dates... plenty of time to write and record! Can't wait till next year

I am sure there are 1000's of people who still would like to see him and maybe for their first time and I also know Bruce could quite easily tour and write at the same time (since he's been doing it for 10 years now) - that isn't the issue. You can still get GA's for almost all concerts that have been on sale for weeks. Given the absolutely disgusting ticket sales for the Fall legs of this tour I would suggest he in fact needs a break. The fans are telling him this. They've had enough.
I don't recall Bruce ever doing " a few shows here and there" outside of holiday shows, benefits, etc.

Hasn't Bruce been rumoured to be coming here for the last 4 or 5 years?
