| For any of you country fans out there, it appears that Gretchen Wilson has been added to the line-up for the Keith Urban show. It's listed on Pollstar and her official site.

She rocks...she did a wicked version of Hearts 'Barracuda' with Alice in Chains on the VH1 Rock Honors recently...go check it out on You Tube.

DAMM! Are you kidding me! I've never heard of Gretchen Wilson. Now after watching that YouTube clip of Barracuda tribute with Alice in Chains and cameo Nancy...I'm in awe.
Move over Keith Urban, someone is about to steal the show. Damm that girl can sing. I'm opening iTunes to check out her stuff.

She's had a few hits, but "redneck woman" would be here most known i'd say. I saw that VH1 Rock Honors before & agree she was great doing barracuda...but Alice in Chains won't be in Halifax with her, so no thanks

that is a good lineup and a deal for $89.
I suspect Harold thought he could sell 30,000 tickets on Keith alone. Too much distraction for concert buyers I guess.
Me? Holding out for Petty or Bruce. Please SANTA please....

| I think the promoter said on the news the other night that he was hoping to sell 25-30K tickets for the show. Not sure where that puts the current sales.

| Should have held this on Citadel Hill, but oh well. It isn't. I guarantee people here will definitely wait until they see a semblance of a weather forecast. If it's nice, that number will jump a fair bit higher. I'm not a country fan in the least, but it seems like they have rounded out the bill well.

I hope its a nice hot day and a raving success with no problems.....
A good experience will only reinforce the venue as a good spot to hold mega acts.....(particularly when acts like U2, AC/DC, and the Stones may tour in 2009)
