| With the big unofficial announcement of the Eagles in Moncton, comes the rumour of Elton John in PEI. Anybody heard when and where?

| Btw Only, Where did you hear this rumour from? I want to know if this is something looking official, because I know a lot of people who have been saying they'd go see him if he came to these parts.

Elton was mentioned on Q104 this morning. Dave Rodenhiser was in with the morning crew and while talking about the show mentioned that it looked like Elton would be coming to the Island.
It would be a toss-up for me to do this one or the Eagles. Knowing that the ticket price is going to be outrageous for the Eagles (I'm guessing around $200), and them and Elton have such a similar sound, I'd prefer to hear something heavier for a second show.

| I'd rather see KISS in PEI. Elton John or the Eagles will not get one red cent from me.

Yes, Yes...we ALL know you'd rather see KISS than any other band on the face of the earth. No need to make a point of it with every act thats mentioned on here

| I'd go see Elton. I certainly wouldn't call myself an Elton fan, but i think he'd be cool to see live. I know a few people who seen him live in Toronto a few years back & they said it was the best concert they've ever been to.

Actually I would rather see Alice Cooper, Rolling Stones, Metallica, Motorhead, Testament, Anthrax, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, RUSH, Judas Priest, Motley Crue, Ozzy, Guns N Roses just to name a few. KISS is just one of the many I would rather see then Elton John or the Eagles. Hope you & everybody else enjoys the shows though! I also hope they do very well.

| Elton John in P.E.I.? Seriously? That's what they said? As for KISS, can't see it for the FOL. That show happens at Confederation Landing, too small a venue for KISS. I know they have three bands booked but, from what I understand, none of them is the kind of headliner KISS is considered. Don't get me wrong, it would be awesome but there was lots of talk about KISS coming to Halifax and, according to the Halifax press, the price was too outrageous. Sorry but if Halifax can't afford KISS, Charlottetown/P.E.I. can't afford KISS.

| The KISS show in Halifax wasn't cancelled because of cost, it was actually the band that pulled out because they decided not to tour at that particular time.

| I think PEI should be able to afford to hold a Kiss concert, but i just can't see it being in the Festival of Lights budget.
