This is from a press release this past week...sounds promising.
Stone Temple Pilots have officially revealed that the band will be reuniting and will launch a massive 2008 concert tour encompassing over 65 dates and hitting all corners of North America.
Please god..let Halifax be in that group. 65 dates would pretty well cover every major city in North America. They probably want to hit everywhere they possibly can.

Slash, Matt and Duff must be shaking their heads or breathing a sigh of relief.
My take - VR wanted to go back into the studio and do a quick followup to Libertad....Weiland probably said no- STP reunion first.
VR said- ok - fukk you- your fired.
IMO!!

| As for STP Coming to Halifax its not looking good. 42/65 Dates have been annouced with only Canadian Dates being Toronto, Calgary, Vancover & Quebec.

| They're touring until November so it's possible they might take another swing thru the east coast.

| I wouldn't be surprised if there was more Canadian dates added either, although they are playing in both Ontario & Quebec, they don't have a date in either Toronto or Montreal.

| This would be great. Stone temple pilots are definitely one of the bands that i listen to. But what are the chances.. really though.

| They play Montreal Friday, July 11. That would be such a great show. I love STP!
