Wow, Tom Petty would be unreal. I wouldn't be surprised if Petty is for the Upton Farms concert in Charlottetown...the way it's been built up in the papers the last few days, it has to be somebody pretty damn big to attrack over 35,000 to PEI, especially in a summer like this when it'll be competing with all the other shows going on in the Maritimes. Anyone know if Petty is booked yet for September 6th?

I wouldn't be surprised either if Rush were part of the Festival of Lights in Charlottetown.

I LOVE the Black Crowes too! You guys were spot on with Lenny, so i'm pretty excited to see Petty in the red!

Hey it's possible, Petty is one of the few acts i've heard rumored...he's now rumored to be coming to the Maritimes...he's not booked past August 29th...he's playing a number of outdoor festival-type shows this summer....etc.

Well ...by looking at Tom Petty's tour schedule...he swings up the usa east coast in early June...which is the closest to maritime cities....but I'm seeing gaps in that area..but not huge ones ..guess we'll have to wait and see..unless someone knows more and would like to share

omg i just had a heart attack. he is one of my favs and would travel anywhere to see him. by himself or with the eagles doesnt matter be amazing. now i dont know if i should get kravitz tickets tomorrow with petty and rush being in the severe maybe shouldnt risk it...

Oh my God! Just the possibility is awesome. I wanted to see Petty so much this summer but I couldn't get anyone to go to Boston with me. Sweet!!

He's playing mostly festivals all summer. I'd rather him in PEI on his own than with an hour set in Moncton. Wherever he winds up I'm there.

Wow. Surprising and awesome. That confirmer had mentioned that Petty's crew was looking here, guess it was true. I'm just as excited about the possibility of seeing the Black Crowes. I'm not sure where the money's going to come from though! haha
