I can't see them announcing a concert they expect to sell out on, 1 month before the event..
Rush is a HUGE band and all, but people have already spent a lot on tickets in the past few weeks. I just can't see it. I'd say it's a bad decision if it's going to happen. I know I won't be going, If it's June. August is more likely IMO. |
YOU know something..maybe you are right...Rush's last stop in July is in Atlanta..we could be add on cities in August..just like it was during the Ozzy tour..a few months back(mann has it been that long now)..since they(Rush)have moved up a notch to the severe list...hopefully it will be a short time before we know the whole story..(fingers crossed )

| Somebody has to know something by now for a RUSH concert here. If they were to play in June, I think they had better get their butts in gear & announce it.

| so from what I have heard from my source at the metro center is that rush is playing citidal hill on the natile day weekend which i think is retarded because it will eaither be the day before the eagles or the day after which i think may hurt ticket sales but my source has been wrong before so am hoping it's the weekend after the eagles but we will see

Honestly heres my prediction:
No more Concerts will be announced - Other than Elton John.
No Rush, No Petty, No Crowes. As much as I hate to say it

I'd do RUSH over the Eagles!! Of course, I'd rather the Eagles were here, too, but ya can't have 'em all...

| I think it would be a big mistake to bring RUSH on the same weekend as the Eagles. I am guessing pretty much the same crowd that would go to an Eagles show would go to a RUSH show so with 50000 tickets gone, who would be left to go?! Besides me that is!!

| Probably wouldn't have it on the same day as that day on the show but I know if that was the case I would selling my tickets to The Eagles. It's Rush for me! Until it's announced, no sense in getting fired up about it.

| That's right, all of this is just speculation & rumours. Just hope they hold off on ticket sales for a couple of weeks, between WWE, Alice Cooper, Lenny Kravitz & Avril, I need it!!

| So has anyone heard anything at all about RUSH playing the maritimes lately? You would have thought they would have some sort of an announcement by now.

So that is where you think they will be playing? I was sort of hoping for a Moncton concert.

I was hoping that gap in their tour in June would have a few maritime dates in it...but I'm not sure what to think now...if they were going to do that..I'm sure it would have been announced by now...so its anyones guess..maybe it will be some add on dates after their tour is done in August...or maybe it is going to be part of the upton concert..hopefully if it is Tom Petty would be there also..yup I'm dreaming again lol
