as everyone can see our sidewalks are very dangerous and traffic increases daily so i suggedt that we ask the school boards to pickup all kids between the age of 5 and let say 9 UP TO GRADE 4

due to the policies of the education act kids as young as 5 years old have to walk to school for as much as 2.4 km .. usually without supervision because in today society most couple have to work in order to survives

My proposition is to ask for a change in the laws and permit kids up to grade 4 to be allowed on the bus systems irregardless of the so call mileage


In order for me to present this offer I want to see if people in New Brunswick would support it ....

Thats cuz we talk about concerts and concert related material. Nobody ever uses the 'local happenings' fourm. Most people probably haven't even noticed u posted on here.

I have 2 kids and I dont care! I work & I drive my kids to school every day but who cares, bring ACDC, KISS or Van Halen to the hill!!!

Come on, guys, there's no need to be nasty. But... with all due respect, there actually is a lot happening on this site, just not on this thread. Most of what we discuss on here relates to concerts. You also may not realize that not everyone on here is from New Brunswick... In Nova Scotia, we're having issues with our kids' school lunch program

Oh I care about my kids, I just dont think anybody on here wants to hear about it & rightfully so. Your local schoolboard is who you should be talking to, not to a bunch of strangers on a comment board. If you want to change the way things are done, go to the people who can make things happen.

for one thing a local board is suppose to be the best place for somethig like this..
but i guess like usual Canadians do not fit the description of caring for their fellow Canadians so what the heck

as you might know one person against the school board will not accomplish anything but f that person gets the support of his fellow citizen it might work (ah yea am ding this for all te kids in NB between the age of 5 and 8


so i guess i made a mistake in thinking that fellow citizen cared for what happens in their country
