Thanks Tim, that's awesome, i've only seen Alice live opening for the Stones, and he was incredible!
Too bad Slash wouldn't tour with Alice. Seeing as Velvet Revolver appear to be on the verge of breaking up...and Slash & Alice are both being honored on May 9th in Hollywood & they are going to play a few songs together. One can dream Smile

Actually I have read that Slash has said this is definately not the last Velvet Revolver tour. So I am guessing they are looking at getting rid of Scott & continuing.

I was just talking to my cousin a few minutes ago, he's a big GNR/VR fan (the guy i usually go to concerts with), and he said that he heard too that Scott is the only one really saying VR are done, and that the band said they'd go on without him if they have to.

they may continue with a new lead singer, but i doubt it, it might be a better band with somebody other then weiland, whom i dont really care for.

I agree. He does put on a phenomenal show. I will probably try to attend the Halifax show if he doesn't announce any dates in NB.

When I saw him in Saint John in '06 I got so much memorabilia at the show, caught guitar picks, Alice dollar bills, show setlist, etc...

C103 site has him at Coliseum Oct 19th.

I heard AC/DC. They're not touring right now and don't have a new album out yet but it could happen. Come to think of it, I'm going to start a Facebook group about it because then they'll definitely come. Twisted Evil

Actually you're right and wrong. AC/DC won't be opening for Alice...ha ha, but "HELLS BELLS" (cover band) is scheduled to come back to Moncton soon.

I saw them at the Shediac Lobster Fest and they blew Tracy Starr off the stage.
